Selfie... Wefie is the new photography

Selfie... Wefie... Yes, that's the way forward for casual photography.

As Inmages Studio shot for the Ministry of Finance - Malaysia at the National Blue Ocean Strategy Open Day taking place at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, we had to cramp and squeezed ourselves with at least another 20 photographers and videographers to capture a casual Wefie moment of a VVIP with the audience. 

Trying to get the attention of the VVIP as well as the crowd just to snap "THE" shot of the day, the photographers and videographers had to shout across "Look here!", "One more shot here", "Smile"...

For all the squeezing and waving at the VVIP and audience, 

we believe that it was all worth it...

At Inmages Studio, we are doing great and at the same time feeling grateful over the positive results from our photography assignments. 

Just to share our joy with you, one of the photos taken at the annual Thaipusam Festival has been featured as a Front Page photo on theSun, dated February 2, 2015. This is truly one of the great achievements for us and we are honoured by the recognition.

The Nine Emperor God Festival 2014

 

 

If you are in the bustling Kuala Lumpur city centre between Sept 25 - Oct 4, 2014, and love witnessing different cultural celebrations in Malaysia, head over to the Jalan Ampang Nine Emperor God Temple to witness one of World's unique Nine Emperor God Celebration.

 

 

 

Annually celebrated by Taoists over the first nine days of the Ninth Moon in the lunar calendar, Taoists will observed strict vegetarian diet during these period especially to honour the Nine Emperor Gods who have blessed the community in the past.

Walk of Hope 2014

In an effort to 'Give It Back to the Society', Inmages Studio has supported a charitable event known as #WalkofHope2014. 

This event was organised by UBV Uttama Bodhi Vihara to raise funds and awareness for those who have lost their mobility after amputation.

Following our last posting sometime in February 2014, Inmages Studio has been very tied on its schedule. We have completed several high profile corporate shoots as well as food photography for hotels and resorts. 

While we reckoned that earning $$$ will pay off our bills and get business rolling, we have made a conscious decision that starting June 2014, Inmages Studio will shoot for well-deserving charity events at no cost! But, how does this work? 

Here, if you happen to organise a charity event that requires photography, do drop us a proposal at kahpeng@inmagesstudio.com. We will run through your 'cause,' and with fingers crossed, we hope to come in as a photo partner to your charity event. 

Just to share a little bit more on this topic, in a recent fund-raising event which was held in The Summit Subang USJ, Inmages Studio and DCS Entertainment had collaborated to provide photography services and clowning characters to add colours to the much anticipated Jom Durian VII charity event.

Clowning and costumed characters from DCS Entertainment had gone around making the audience laughed and entertained... Meanwhile, back at our instant printing station, Inmages Studio had taken shots of the audience enjoying themselves to the King of Fruits - Durians and posing for photos with the clowns. 

With interesting props and photos instantly taken and printed, the prints were sold. All proceeds were channelled to the home, Children Wish Society Malaysia.

With this is being done to commemorate the First Anniversary of our studio, we hope that we would be able to contribute more towards charitable activities...
